After having finished the game and giving it some thought while I was playing, I feel confident creating a more complete review now. Overall I would recommend the game for its price. I think it's fair for the amount of content and playtime you get accounting for the difficulty of some of the levels and even some replayability if you want to farm the A+ scores. Having played on controller I can say I would like the ability to change keybinds as the rotation can be counter-intuitive, however, the controls and movement feel tight and responsive. Continuing on the gameplay side of things, I appreciate the game for what it is without comparing it to others of the genre but I will say the game does punish you if you try to go for huge lines, and even though there is a reward (invencibility) if you do chain reactions, I feel like they are very rare to pull off which is kind of unsatisfying. And there were some levels where I felt they were just hard for the sake of being hard and not actually enjoyable, but that's just me. As far as art and vibes, oh boy, I enjoyed the charm and colours so much. The game looks like eye candy and I'm gald it's done in the way it's done. Really pays homage to the Super Meat Boy theme but keeps it fresh. Soundtrack is also very good and doesn't get boring throughout the experience. I wish there were more cutscenes making the story better and also, I wish the transformations had a "purpose" in-game. Apart from that, give it a shot if you like puzzle games that are hard enough.
