Set in a huge open world, Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen presents a rewarding action combat experience. Players embark on an epic adventure in a rich, living world with three AI companions, known as Pawns. These partners fight independently, demonstrating prowess and ability that they have developed based on traits learnt from each player. PC users can share these Pawns online and reap rewards of treasure, tips and strategy hints for taking down the terrifying enemies. Pawns can also be borrowed when specific skills are needed to complete various challenging quests.

This is around a 7/10, not a bad game, but not the worst, kinda in the middle, the story was ok , but kinda weird, I wanted the story to end somehow. Although it does offer some variety in terms of how people play the game .

This game has sparked my love for game development since the release on xbox. For a game released in 2012, the graphics still hold up for its time. From close combat and magic spells, the game is filled with a breathtaking story that has you on the edge of your seat wanting more. As someone who beat this game 3 times (twice on xbox and once on PC) there are multiple quest lines that connects you to the characters and the overall adventure. Will you take up arms and become the next Arisen?

Replayed this as a refresher before the sequel release. The refresh of Dark Arisen helps this game hold up but unfortunately it isn't enough for the underlying issues being a product of the early 2010's . Enemies lack variety, voice lines are limited and are repeated ad nauseam along with some weird and unhelpful info. For example while fighting trolls, your party will inform you that "It is excited by the sight of a woman" I have no idea why that matters or is relevant in any way. All in all though it is a decent game especially for the price you can pick it up now.

Dragon's Dogma is an incredible RPG. One with a class system like no other. It lives and breathes traditional role playing game, and the world itself is a vast land of discovery. This game sports the greatest magic I have seen in a video game to date. Where it lacks in some areas, like travel, and some story, it makes up for in it's world, the love that went into the game as a whole, and the gameplay itself. This game regularly goes on sale for $5 and I highly recommend it.

This game was ahead of it's time with it's approach into open world exploration and player decisions making all the difference in their playthroughs! It was thrilling to interact with the world and make a name for yourself in this game. I am looking forward to the second installment!

Ich mochte meine erstellten Figuren Kai und Arturo sehr und auch die Gegner hatten ein tolles Design. Die Hauptidee des Spiels ist nice, aber es war zu viel Gerenne und gab zu wenige coole Quests. Aber ich bin gespannt auf Teil 2.
