Monster Hunter Rise is an action/ strategy game where the main goal is to discover a monster's weaknesses and predict their reactions so you can time your attacks effectively. Every monster is made to test specific knowledge of the player on where they should keep to and when they should strike, providing satisfying combat with an equally satisfying way of progression that highlights a player's improvement above all else. Rise is an entry in the monster hunter series that is accessible enough for newcomers with enough depth to provide veterans a decent challenge in the late game of the dlc. I heavily recommend it if you want to take a first step into monster hunter and the gameplay it provides.
