Baroque is set in a post-apocalyptic world where an experiment led by a being called Archangel to understand the Absolute God caused devastating climate change, with surviving humans becoming physically twisted by manifestations of guilt. The protagonist is guided by Archangel through the Neuro Tower to find the Absolute God and fix the world. The game features first person dungeon-crawling through randomly-generated floors of the Neuro Tower, with deaths in the dungeon advancing the narrative.

Que cosa linda. Hermoso todo el ambiente que logra. La banda sonora presente constantemente que es mas una colección de ruidos. Cuando te encontrás con enemigos y empezás a escuchar tus latidos. Cada vez mas fuertes entre mas aparezcan. El exterior desértico con estos NPCs deformes. La torre cambiante. Todo de este juego me encanta. Los nombres de las cosas. Items curativos en orden de cantidad curada son "Carne de Idiota" "Carne promedio" y "Carne de Genio". Items de efectos contra enemigos Torturadores. Podes comer huesos que tienen efectos distintos. Tiene una historia delirante y obtusa como pocas. Igual si te pones a hablar NPC vas a entender que esta pasando pero hay un montón de backstory para encontrar. El tipo de historias me encantan que hacen me tenga que poner a pensar en que significan. Despues como gameplay es un roguelike. Si moris empezas de 0 con nivel 1. No hay metraprogresion. Pero si llegas a ciertos lugares podes mandarte items para el siguiente run. Entonces decis, me mando algo me sirve ahora para empezar mejor despues? A no todos les gusta pero a mi me encanta. Ademas tuve buen rng jaja. Y como todo buen roguelike una vez entendes las mecanicas podes abusarlas. Ejemplo: Hay armas agarras se te pegan al cuerpo y no te las podes sacar. Me paso con una era una cagada. Hay un enemigo te roba un item random cada tanto. Tonces tire todos los items y me acerca con el arma forra. Me lo robo y despues agarre los items. Problema solucionado. Recomiendo jugarlo. Pero con paciencia y con una buena guia porque sino el final no creo lo puedas ver.
