Bloody Roar 2, is a brawler arcade game developed by Eighting/Raizing in 1999. (Also known as Bloody Roar 2: Bringer of the New Age in Japan/Europe and Bloody Roar II: The New Breed in the United States.) Bloody Roar series differs from other fighting games as every character has a beast mode that can be used to use new attacks, recover some of lost health and generally to be faster and/or more powerful with their attacks.

Blood Roar 2 acabou evoluindo bem do seu antecessor, o Blood Roar, tendo uma evolução boa no quesito gráfico que é o que mais se destaca. A mecânica de combate ainda é puxada no estilo Tekken mas agora com algumas pequenas mudanças que agregam bem ao jogo. A parte mais incomoda na parte do combate fica mais pra IA que evolui muito rapidamente num ponto e pega desprevenido quem não está acostumado com jogos de lutas assim. Agora há personagens novos misturados com os do 1º, o que dá uma variada bacana, com cada um tendo uma história que ajuda a conhecer melhor do universo do jogo mas a história em si não é nada demais, um tanto genérica e curta. Os designs dos personagens estão bem legais, cada um bem ao seu estilo. A soundtrack é legal, combina com o jogo mas nada muito além. Recomendo o Blood Roar 2 mais que o 1º, dá pra pular para ele tranquilamente pra ter uma experiencia um pouco melhor!
