Gabriel Belmont learns of a mask with the power to raise the dead and sets out on a mission to obtain it to bring his recently murdered wife back from the dead. Lords of Shadow builds upon the combat systems first explored in this series in 2003's Lament of Innocence and adds more violent kills to the mix. Inspiration for these changes seems to have come from 2005's God of War.

Controls clunky and not being able to lock onto a specific target just made the game so much harder to play XD other than that, it is a good game and maybe I will finish it one day Lmao.

First time finishing this game after giving it another go (I just have a lot of backlogs, that's why) - Base game is amazing. 9/10 - Voice acting is amazing too. I could listen to Sir Patrick Stewart narrate to me all night long and I wouldn't mind. Never skipped a "loading" screen because of him. Robert Carlyle took me by surprise because I just know him from watching 28 weeks later and Trainspotting back then. - Music is great, they really cooked with this one. - I like the environment of this game a lot to the point where I didn't mind exploring an area a lot just to take in more of it. I just want Gabriel Belmont to be happy. The DLC was a pain though; had a lot of problems with the platforming and That boss fight had really cheap mechanics, but let me tell you the sigh of relief I had when I finally beat it. It was amazing. (Doesn't erase the fact it was annoying though.) I heard that even MercurySteam admitted that it was rushed and was a mistake, so I'll give them that. I'm just glad I'm not the only one who had problems with this DLC because I was really questioning myself lol TL;DR - Great game. I liked it, just found the DLC annoying.

é um bom jogo, mas como se tornou um hacking slash de medio orçamento sofre de muita repetição, a historia é boa e os visuais pra epoca são bem bacanas MAS sobre o resto é bem mediocre e cansativo, vale a pena se vc gosta do genero mas não acho valido como parte da franquia castlevania. deveria se chamar só ''lords of shadows'' e ser uma franquia nova.

Minha opinião É um ótimo jogo, para a época em que foi lançado com intuito de ser uma nova "cara" da lore dos clássicos, acho que ele cumpre seu papel. A questão da narrativa ela é muito interessante! E se desconsiderar outras história, que certamente o Lords of Shadow reaproveita, vira uma experiência única e divertida (Já no modo paladino, não sei se irá achar divertido). E a jogabilidade... Castlevania tem uma jogabilidade ok, mas esta versão da Steam foi indevidamente mal aplicado o porte de algumas mecânicas essenciais para derrotar certos tipos de bosses como o Titã de pedra, o Corvo gigante, e os Trolls. Simplesmente agarrar e lançar é algo impraticável sem o controle. Dá pra perceber que o foco do desenvolvimento foi para o console, tanto que tem a opção de vibração do controle nas opções. Uma coisa que não gosto desse jogo é a câmera do jogador. Ela redireciona em certos momentos que não faz sentido. Além de me incomodar um pouco na hora de ativar mecanismos. Creio que poderia ser melhor implementado, ajustando a altura do jogador. O game possui várias cinemáticas, é bem agradável. Essas são minhas críticas e opiniões a respeito. Gosto muito do jogo, sem dúvidas é um dos melhores Castlevanias que já joguei, gastei um tempinho ou outro em algumas fases, mas valeu super a pena!!

Ein ganz cooles Spiel, mit tollen und abwechslungsreichen Rätseln, anstrengenden Kämpfen und zum Teil richtig nervigen Bossen. Ich habe echt viel geflucht, aber die Umgebungen und Rätsel sehr genossen.

Uma das ultimas obras prima da konami gameplay é bom tem seus problemas com camera que as vezes buga o salto, história top e musicas orquestradas maravilhosa recomendo altamente jogar e para quem tem um pc bacana jogue no pc que os graficos são lindos demais tem uma diferença brutal dos consoles

One of the better Castlevania games and the best 3D one I played so far. The Soundtrack gives me goosebumps and the world is amazingly designed. It is just a bit wonky from time to time and some parts are so frustrating. Other than that you get a really great game!
