Donkey Kong is a Game Boy game which starts out with the premise of being a straight remake of the original Donkey Kong arcade game. Although at first it appears to be just a port, the familiar levels from the arcade game are just a prelude to the real platform jumping adventure. There are 96 levels spread out over 12 worlds. These levels are much more complex than the originals, featuring scrolling backgrounds, numerous objects to collect, and enemies to avoid. Along the way, you will encounter several boss style battles with Donkey Kong, as well. When played on a Super Game Boy, the game is colorized, digitized speech is added and the ending music takes advantage of the SNES sound chip.

Quase 100 fases e nao me enjoei de jogar, joguei feito doente tudo de uma vez e foi divertido cada mapa parece unico, alguns mapas tem puzzle e eu fiquei preso por um tempo kkkkkk, mas nao por conta da dificuldade do puzzle e sim que eu sou devagar pra esse tipo de coisa.. . acho que essa é a melhor versao desse dk classico e vale demais ser visitado até pra quem nao é tao retrozeiro pois o jogo te enche de vidas é bem dificil tomar game over aqui, o jogo tem save entao nao precisa ser doente igual eu e jogar tudo de uma vez.¨ acho que depois desse jogo eles tiveram a ideia pra criar o jogo do mario vs donkey kong que inclusive eu nunca nem joguei 😀 bossfight final é mto top fiquei surpreso *joguei emulando

One of my favorite puzzle games, and one of the best games on the Gameboy. Beating Donkey Kong is extremely satisfying. This game is extremely user-friendly with progression.

It builds so much upon what had come before while also introducing new concepts to be used in future games. They went all out with the puzzles, music, and callbacks to series past. Still a treat to play 30 years later.
