The game is not finished. Especially the elves' town. Side content feels cut. Most of the dungeons are good though. The game doesn't have enought high level chests, the RNG won't let you see most of the high tier stuff and spells. Interesting leveling and magic systems. PS. You can exploit multiplayer to load a character from one save into another character's save for unintended new game+.

Wie soll ich dieses Game beschreiben ? Es ist halt ein Open World RPG in einem Fantasy-setting aber holy moly ... hat dieses Spiel weh getan. So gut wie kein Soundtrack, sehr langweilige Dialoge die auch noch gefühlt jedes mal 10min in Anspruch nehmen und einen mit Informationen berieseln die man sich niederschreiben müsste, da man sonst keine Möglichkeit mehr hat auf dieses Wissen zuzugreifen. Den ein Questlog gibt es zwar, jedoch ist das unfassbar nutzlos ! Ständig spawnen Monster aus dem nichts und gehen einem auf die nerven ! Das Gameplay erschließt sich einem nicht ! Man müsste vermutlich das Handbuch lesen um auf einige Funktionsweisen zu kommen, bei Spielen aus den 90ern würde ich das nicht kritisieren. Das hier kommt jedoch aus dem Jahre 2005. In den letzten Minuten des Spiels ergibt sich aus der Story das man alles, was man in Qualvollen Stunden vorher erreicht hat, völlig umsonstn war. In einer guten Story könnte man das als guten Twist verbuchen. Hier jedoch fühle ich mich als Spieler einfach nur verarscht. Inhaltlich ist die Story mehr als Klischeehaft. Eine Kombination aus "Rette die Prinzessin" und "Finde die altertümlichen Artefakte" wieso das jedoch am Ende in einem Zusammenhang steht ergibt sich erst nach dem Durchspielen des Games. Das Gameplay, egal ob Nah- Fern- oder Magiekampf besteht aus UNFASSBAR SCHNELLEM UND VIELEM Mausklickbashing ! Was bei längeren Sessions schon fast zu schmerzen in der Hand führen kann. Wenn man dieses Spiel nicht schon in seiner Kindheit gespielt und keinerlei Nostalgie für dieses empfindet, dann kann ich nur JEDEM davon abraten dieses Game zu spielen. PS. In einer neueren Fassung des Spiels, die sich nur gering von dieser hier unterscheidet, gibt es sogar einen Soundtrack. ALLERDINGS hat sich dieser einfach aus Liedern anderer Lizenzen des selben Publishers bedient. SCHANDE !
