It felt great to finally play and finish the first Final Fantasy game. I played the 25th Anniversary Edition on Sony Playstation Portable. The updated visuals were great for a classic turn-based RPG. The magic spells really looked good as well as some of the weapons when attacking with them. The story was pretty good for a game that came out in the 1987. It was mostly a pretty straight forward game until you get towards the end and a big plot point is revealed. The gameplay was great for a classic turn-based RPG. The only problem I had in the game was the lack of a map for the overworld. I spent a lot of time searching for places I had to visit next. This is also taking into account that I used a guide for this game. This version also had extra dungeons with exclusive items and equipment. It contained for four dungeons that were debuted in the Gameboy Advance version of the game and one brand new dungeon for this version. I completed the GBA dungeons and played a little of the new dungeon. The GBA dungeons included bosses from future classic FF games, but no new story reveals. The new dungeon consisted mostly of time trials that were very difficult to complete if you did not know how to complete the puzzles in time. The music was great and fit the game very well. I discovered some of the music in this game from newer FF games like Final Fantasy XV and the Dissidia Series. It was nice to finally hear this music in the original game moments were it began. Overall, this is a great game. It may not necessarily be a great game for RPG beginners (once again, no overworld map), but it is definitely worth a playthrough.

The remastered version of Final Fantasy is great, but it does a few things that irritate me. Being an old school gamer who played the original Final Fantasy on the NES, I was thrown a little by the way the remastered version changes the names of some key items. The leaf for example, which you would acquire from the witch after returning her eye, is now called something like a Jolt Tonic. I get the change, but wasn't expecting that and was thrown a little off by it. The rest of the changes they've made have been great and the game still has replay value after all these years. Glad I was able to pick it up on Steam and enjoy streaming it for my viewers.

Joguei no emulador no meu Samsung pocket no ensino fundamental kkkkk. Foi de fato uma experiência única, porém não consigo negar as limitações por ser um jogo antiguerrimo e o ongetivo muitas vezes focar a Deus dará kkkk. Me perdi demais procurando os lugares certos. Mas a batalha final eu acho impecável. Um grande clássico e que andou pra muitos protagonistas bons correrem.

Despite moments of being directionless, it ended up playing very well for the first Final Fantasy. Combat was straightforward but had a bit more depth than I initially gave it credit for. The music was AMAZING. And the pixel remaster looks extremely good. Not a ton of story to it but was definitely caught off guard with the end of the story. Overall, a very fun game!
