I played both the original and the remake of Mad Father, 100%. FYI that's why the playtime is so long. I'm just going to merge their reviews. It's a classic rpgmaker style horror game (technically it was made with WOLF RPG Editor) with some solid puzzle-based rpg gameplay, an interesting story with some neat twists, some lovely spooky music, and nice art. It's short, but in a good way. The remake does a good job of upgrading the original; changing the layout of the mansion as well as some of the puzzles, redoing the look and feel of the environment, and adding some quality of life. Blood mode is a bit tedious, but does give a bit more insight into the story. All in all, a lovely little horror game.

Mad Father hab ich sehr gerne gespielt Es ist ein relativ altes Spiel und wurde nochmal neu aufgelegt mit geilerer Grafik Es hat wirklich viel Spaß gemacht und es gab nicht wenige Momente wo ich vom Stuhl gehüpft bin. Empfehlung ist definitiv raus !

Improved Visuals from the 2012 version (which I've played!). Creepy aspect of the game is still there. Would play again just to experience it all over again.

the remake has improved graphics and a wider screen which honestly improved my gameplay tho the story was good i wasnt really fond of how the delivered the ending other than that the game is amazing
