Las prácticas anticonsumidor son el mayor problema del juego al requerir comprar la versión más cara del juego para no carecer de contenido y aún así se tendría una versión incompleta del mismo. Tampoco está a un buen precio, mucho menos justo. Fuera de eso es una sólida experiencia como juego de peleas.

beat the game and tried out the new invasions mode, i have to say- i think the time spent making that mode would have been better spent making more characters playable, they should have had every character be playable AND be usable as kameo. it feels like im being limited on options for no reason.

I was super hyped about this game but it lacks so much content that it feels like a rush job, that being said what was given to us in terms of story is a fun trip down memory lane with tons of omage to Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance, Deception and Armageddon and like Tears of the Kingdom this would have served better as just another DLC pack rather than an entire new game. It's supposed to be a new era yet all the focus is once again on the past. The kameo system doesn't really work either, although it works on paper, it denies us amazing moments with characters that should be at the forefront of the roster, visa vie: Shujinko who has been toned down to the point where he isn't worth playing. There lacks a huge Krypt system and customisation with some of the best costumes and cosmetics being hidden behind yet another paywall. Load times for online matches lags and the release of new content is few and far between. The story is stunning and gives new depths to the characters, putting Johnny cage in the limelight but also giving way for a younger version of Raiden. Mileena shines as always in her new role as khanum however her transformation comes with a deeper back story along with Baraka which was a breath of fresh air. The Tarkat disease really makes you feel for the two fighters. As for Shang Stung, he is a marvel in this game, the acting and cockiness is superb and seeing a "deadly alliance" between him, quan chi and shao khan was a lot of fun. The game ends with a love letter to Armageddon but does miss some fun moments such as Zombie Liu Kang and Blaze. I would buy the game but wait til it goes on sale as it lacks in a lot of content but if you are in it for the story and some of the DLC fighters then go for it, the story is a fun ride and some of the characters have new move sets and a killer new look.

I will say the graphics are nice. the story is SUPER great for a fighting game except for that last twist but whatever Endgame moment where everything just fucking collides I get it. Gameplay day 1 was a step up before NR removed fun. I do believe the game can get better but alas I shall wait til that happens.
