This game was an amazing installment from Cyan, Inc. ❤️ Every inch of the game was beautiful from the color choice to the environment. I found myself staring in awe of how stunning the landscapes were. I played the game via Steam on my gaming laptop with an Xbox Elite controller on free roam. I don't tolerate point and click games and I refuse to play PC games using the keyboard. 8.5/10 the controller worked just fine, but it got annoying how close I had to be to an object to interact with it. And trying to rotate items could be a pain as well. The biggest reason for the 2.5/5 rating on Gameplay is that a few puzzles felt as if they were impossible to solve without help from either Google or a friend. I could NOT wrap my brain around the Villein numbering system. It was entirely too complicated for me. If it weren't for my friend just straight up telling me what put in the panel, then I wouldn't have been able to access the third tree. The story was amazing and I loved finding new things to read to discover more of what was going on before our character arrived on Hunrath. The soundtrack was pretty great too!
