Prototype is the first of two games, and let's the user take control of Alex Mercer as he fights to stop the viral outbreak known as BLACKLIGHT throughout Manhattan. Alex is himself infected by the virus, which has given him special, mutant, abilities that will evolve with time and aid him in stopping the virus.

THE SICKEST GAME. EVER. The story, the powers, the gameplay, the world. Everything about Prototype speaks to me on such a grand level, and if I could play it right now I know it'd hold up. Might have to play it again at some point

Do not let any guides fool you: it IS playable without any previous knowledge of the game. Choose your favourite weapon, do not be afraid of death. Then go and defeat the enemies, who threaten thde future of NYC by releasing a virus, that tries to transform the whole city. Full Steam review: Will I ever get over it, that other games do not have the gliding feature as part of moving? I think not. In this great game, the player explores the reason for the protagonist's infection by a virus, which threatens the whole city of New York. Different kids of enemies, nice boss fights, great selection of weapons and skills (which have to be purchased) and well made cutscenes that explain the story - that is what you can expect from this game. But attention: In order to get it to work on windows 11, it needs some patching! I did mine with a patch, that i found in nexusmods - after that it worked like a charm. Only twice small problems arose after that. A great game for fans of classic games with quite a unique story and a lot of slashing (at least in my gameplay).

Много драк) Очень много , разные способности на любой вкус. Игра точно стоит того что бы её пройти . Но нужно играть так... как задумано в игре) Ловиться мордой вперед и делать все что угодно.. особо долго не выйдет) И после 5-6 смертей начинаешь думать как было задумано изначально. Однозначно годная игра.

I had a fantasy of the game in my head from when i played this game at friends house when i was younger, but when i played it now over it still held some of its nostalgia to me. I would of liked the controls to be more fluid when targeting, but in its defense to the transforming from one state for the controls was ok, what let it down for me was the over reaching and encumbering animations for interactions at times when i really need to be fighting not being slowed down, so i made this into an advantage by using the absorption (basically eating them) of enemies to midigate incoming attacks from heavier enemies. Overall great game for the science fiction enthusiast looking for another twist in plotlines, I couldnt rate the soundtrack because i played with the music turned off, there is a good bit to work on if you wanted to get the whole picture and enjoy all the characters abilities at the end game free roaming. I may pop back to it time to time for nuances.

Прошел до конца:✔️ Так как в детстве я был антикрутым ребенком и играл в браузерные ММОРПГ, а не в реально классные игры где чувак в капюшоне убивает людей, у меня нет синдрома утенка относительно Прототайпа. Не самая лучшая игра, но и не худшая. Было интересно.
