Resident Evil 2 is a sequel to the first Resident Evil title. Like the previous game in the series, Resident Evil 2 is a 3D action-adventure using three-dimensional polygon characters over two-dimensional pre-rendered backgrounds, with the action viewed through a variety of cinematic fixed camera angles in each room. Players can choose to play as one of two possible characters; each goes through the same initial scenario but with differences in the type of weaponry they find and the people they meet along the way.

Este es el ejemplo perfecto de como hacer una secuela. El juego sigue igual de bueno después de 27 años.

Tank controls are clumsy nonsense. People don't move like that, especially when walking backwards. Parasite Eve had fully 3D movement. This game had no excuse. I didn't die too often from the awkward movement, but I was definitely assaulted by zombies often enough because I was turning to move somewhere instead actually moving. People do not move like that.

 

For some reason the developers made the knife much weaker in this game compared to the first one. It almost feels like they didn't want players to use it. The puzzles were scarcely present. Most of this game is finding an object and putting it in a different place to find another object, and so on.

 

It was fun despite the asinine movement scheme, and the story expanded on the first game nicely. I would have enjoyed spending more time killing zombies in the city, but I understand that would have diminished the enclosed environment and survival aspects of the game. The map system functioned better than I expected it to, but I would have liked a dedicated map button. Apparently every other iteration of this game had one.

 

I don't understand why people defend tank controls. Maybe they were a form of artificial difficulty, and some people thrive on that. This game isn't generous with ammo, but it will give the player everything they need to survive, even if they're bad at aiming. The rest comes down to skill and memorization. Adding a limit to how often you can save is a horrible idea. Never restrict the player's progress like that.

Прошли в 2025 году сложность кошмар, и она оказалась крайне дисбалансной. В начале супер-сложно, в конце супер-легко. Легкое разочарование присутствует. А игра как и прежде - СУПЕР ТОП И ONE LOVE😍
