The world of Risen 3 is abandoned by all gods and suffers from the Titan Wars when a new threat rises from the soil. A young warrior is attacked from the shadows and deprived of his soul. He sets off to reclaim what is lost amidst the darkness that is spreading throughout the world. The banned Mages could be powerful allies on his quest. To get their help, he needs to find the Mage sanctuary on Taranis, also known as the Island of Thunder. Protected by the Guardians, the Mages search the mines of Taranis for crystals loaded with magic energy. Will the player join the Guardians to get in contact with the Mages? Or will he choose one of the other guilds in Risen 3 to reach his goals?

Uff ... von einem Studio wie PiranhaBytes hätte ich nicht weniger Kontinuität, Authentizität oder eine zusammenhangslosere Story erwarten können. Das Spiel taugt weder als Nachfolger noch als Abschluss einer recht interessanten Spieleserie. Weder beendet es die Story noch beendet es überhaupt irgendwas. Ein nie genannter aber berühmter Piratenkapitän eines noch berühmteren Pirantenvaters, bzw. der nie genannte Bruder einer berühmten Piratentocher taucht plötzlich auf Stirbt halb und versucht wieder nicht halbtot zu sein. Dabei rettet er am Ende zufälliger weise die Welt bzw. bringt sie überhaupt erst in Gefahr. WoW ... plötzlich interessiert sich keiner mehr für die Geschehnisse der restlichen Welt. Viel zu viele Parallelen zu schlechteren Spielen wie Götterdämmerung oder Arcania ... ob ich das Ding nochmal anfasse ?

Какая-то трыжка геймдева. От Готики уже не осталось ни следа, разрабы закрепили самые неудачные и провальные решения, продолжая гнуть свою линию будто бы из принципа. Мне эта игра вообще не зашла, и я только утвердился в мысли, что как оно есть сейчас, лучше всего было бы остановиться на первой части.
