Amazing 2d metroidvania gam ethat balances some rather harsh and unforgiving gameplay moments, with plenty of save points and fairly no-penalty death system, to the point where the game even takes a few stabs at dying to spikes in its own story. That being said, the physics of the grapple and having to aim result in some frustrating moments throughout the game, and a lack of being able to bookmark spots for later exploration makes finding items you missed later on a challenge. The story itself is mostly straightforward but does manage to keep a few surprises in store for you throughout the game, and all multiple endings are done really well, and allowing you to freely choose which ending you want at any point (except maybe for a single joke ending) The soundtrack is really well done, but it also doesn't go out of its way to make truly memorable music tracks as you might expect from some other platformer games. All in all, a very excellent addition to the platformer genre, especially for those wanting a more difficult game.
