Sonic Adventure 2 is the sequel to Sonic Adventure. It was the final Sonic game for the Dreamcast after Sega discontinued the console. Two new playable characters were introduced, Shadow and Rouge, who would go on to become two of the most recurring characters in the Sonic series. The story features good vs evil: Sonic, Tails and Knuckles attempt to save the world, while Shadow, Doctor Eggman and Rouge attempt to conquer it. The levels are divided into three gameplay styles: fast-paced platforming for Sonic and Shadow, multi-directional shooting for Tails and Eggman, and action-exploration for Knuckles and Rouge.

Sempre será meu jogo do Sonic favorito. Dreamcast fechou as portas com um dos melhores jogos do Sonic. Toda vez que vejo a capa desse jogo é impossível de não ter a trilha "Rolling around at the speed of sound" na cabeça. Esse jogo deixou um legado incrivel, além de ser um dos jogos da SEGA com a trilha sonora mais ouvida no Spotify. E não precisamos nem falar que era para o Shadow ter aparecido somente nesse jogo, né? Tudo depois desse jogo que inclua o Shadow é um surto. hahaha E mais uma coisa. SA2> SA2 Battle - sempre será. Dreamcast voce foi incrivel <3

Meu jogo favorito do Sonic também. Gosto desse jogo por varios motivos, a possibilidade de vermos o ponto de vista dos vilões e dos heróis, a história desse jogo é a minha favorita dos jogos que joguei da franquia, tem a minha fase favorita, Escape from the City acompanhada da melhor música, e tambem o surgimento do meu personagem favorito rs

I'll give credit which the 2 parallel stories and trying a variety of things (racing mini-game, Chao garden, and different play styles for characters), but this game is too jank for me. Story is all over the place and does not mesh together for the final come-together. Most non-Sonic/ Shadow levels are kind of a slog to get through. Racing game is not fun. Chao Garden is overrated. I could go on and on....

After falling in love with the first Sonic Adventure, I of course had to pick up 2. I remember racing my friends in the new co-op mode introduced, and spending COUNTLESS hours in the Chao Garden. Seriously, it's embarrasing the time spent caring for those little guys.
