Super Mario 64: Shindou Pak Taiou Version

1997-07-18
Developer:  Nintendo EADPublisher:    Nintendo, iQue
gamepadWii, N64, WiiU
Single playerThird person
Platform
Adventure
Action
Kids

This version of Super Mario 64, originally released only in Japan, is an enhancement over the International release of the game, as it retains all of the glitch fixes as well as graphical and sound changes. The main differences of this version are the Rumble Pak support, some small glitch fixes, the most notorious being the removal of the backwards long jump, a very important technique for the speedrunning scene, and a new title screen easter egg. This version would later be released on the iQue Player in China (without Rumble support), on the Japanese Wii and Wii U Virtual Console. It was finally localized and released internationally as part of Super Mario 3D All-Stars (under the name of "Super Mario 64"), with small visual enhancements.

I don't think any game will ever come close to having the impact this game had on me. The transition from 2D Mario to 3D Mario couldn't have been better. The fact that Nintendo managed to pull this game off when there was nothing like it at the time will never cease to amaze me. This is a powerful and solid title up until this day and definitely for years to come, unlike many other 3D titles of its era. Great game. But some awkward camera control issues hold it back a bit.

Tal vez uno de los juegos retro mas importantes, pero de lo mas dificil para stremear, los primeros streams funciona mucho, pero la gente se desgasta rapidamente.

Finding all the stars was hard but was a great challenge. Making Mario fly with a cap, swimming through the deep and being made of metal was all fun. Bowser fights were memorable and was glad to 100% it.

Still a damn great game for being one of the (if not THE) very first 3D platformer. It set the bar for EVERYTHING that came after it, and still holds up to this very day. My biggest complaint has to be the controls of Mario, himself. Compared to his modern more games, he is a bit clunky to handle.
