Action

Wavetale is a story driven, third-person action-adventure platformer, set in an island world built atop the remains of a once magnificent city. Player takes on the role of Sigrid, a headstrong girl who gains the ability to run on water through the help of a mysterious shadow. Wavetale offers a tight-knit story combined with a charming art style and delightful soundtrack and invites players to explore its world through its fast-flowing gameplay, where traditional platforming elements meet a unique surfing experience on a dynamic ocean. The intuitive controls make Wavetale accessible and family friendly, while at the same time encouraging mastery as the player will need to understand the full range of movement. Guide Sigrid through the archipelago as the calamity that once sunk the city once again looms on the horizon.

Wonderful game that tells a story without wasting your time. Enjoyable story, engaging characters, and wonderfully responsive platforming. Can't recommend enough.

Un juego bastante entretenido, la dinámica que tiene de surfear es MUY CHULA, muy fluida y dinámica. El plataformeo es entretenido. La historia principal al inicio parece predecible y luego da un pequeño giro, aunque siento que todo pasó demasiado rápido, podría haberse extendido más, pero es un juego corto así que entendible. Recomendado si quieres estar entretenido por un par de horas.

Cool 3D platformer with Wind Waker vibes, it's a shame it was short! Great story that has Sigrid tasked with an important mission, but she doesn't know until later on the importance of the shadow companion she met. Movement was so nice! Felt like I was Spiderman at points and I felt the dash mechanic was a game changer when gliding.

Чилловая игра с прекрасным визуальным стилем. Безумно понравилась анимация и механика передвижения по воде. Анимации эмоций найс. Геймплейчик в самый раз для такой короткой игрушки. 🎁 подарок от Nik_Sof

The movement is very fun, going from gliding across the waves to launching onto an island a smacking the gloom is really satisfying! The artstyle is great and the music gets you into the vibe the whole game! It's a short game depending on if you explore around and do the little fetch quests, it takes roughly 4-6hrs to complete.

7,3/10 "Solar Ash" with just a good chill casual core gameplay, but weak visual. We slide along the waves - who can’t get into this at all?) We fly up with a hook and farm the towers to open the next area, there are runner sections between the areas, but, in general, the gameplay is too repetitive and you can get tired, the plot is some kind of childish rubbish. But, in general, a good chill-out purely conceptual indie that came to us after exclusivity for Google Stadia. But 27$ is, of course, overprice, at a discount or, if it suddenly appears in Game Pass - that’s it. Subscribe on my Steam Curators page: https://store.steampowered.com/curator/41977550/
