Yakuza Kiwami 2 is a remake of Yakuza 2, and is an action-adventure game set in an open world environment and played from a third-person perspective. Combat is based on that previously seen in Yakuza 6. A new "Majima Saga" story scenario features recurring series anti-hero Goro Majima as a playable character.

I'm VERY close to 100%-ing this game, which is shocking to me! I heard a lot of negativity about Kiwami 2, but I still enjoyed it! The gameplay gets rid of fighting styles without making the combat "worse" per se. I'd say the worst part of this game is easily the story: there are good character moments, sure, but the way they're used in the whole story leaves a lot to be desired. Moments don't make sense, there's like 30 twists, and a "cliffhanger" that is immediately resolved and written off. I'm sure it was a cool moment when the original game first came out, but we know how it's gonna end. Suspend your disbelief - this game is very much "hype moments and aura" - but it's still enjoyable. And they brought back the Cabaret Club!

bastante me loco buenos personajes pero sentís que no vas para ningún lado, mucha acción (que se entiende por la guerra) pero creo que quisieron hacer todo epico y solo le quedo épico el Ryuji GOda , lindo cambio de motor y gráficos pero nada que ver a lo que ver a como lo venían contando.

Definitivamente, Yakuza Kiwami 2 é uma evolução gigantesca em relação ao jogo anterior, em todos os aspectos! Dessa vez, a RGG se superou no storytelling e trouxe uma história bem mais densa e envolvente, com diversas reviravoltas (como é de costume), mas sem ficar apelando sempre para a Haruka como é no primeiro game. Agora temos muitos mais personagens envolvidos e todos eles são carismáticos o suficiente para serem lembrados do início ao fim do jogo. Em relação ao visual, um banho de qualidade! Realmente, se não fosse o FPS travado em 30, acharia que estava jogando um título de PS5! Muito mais bonito e bem polido que o primeiro, agora com detalhamentos de interiores mais abrangentes e sistema de partículas de objetos que se quebram nas ruas muito mais bem feitos! Com certeza uma evolução! Em termos de música, achei um pouco limitado, mas em compensação, as dublagens do jogo estão simplesmente incríveis! Todos os personagens tem muita personalidade nas suas vozes em japonês e mesmo os mais secundários conseguem ter um destaque graças a isso. Ainda senti um pouco a falta de mais músicas durante as lutas, pois como esse jogo é virado em pancadaria, a gente acaba escutando sempre a mesma. Já o gameplay me agradou muito, MAS ele é bem mais enxuto se compararmos ao primeiro jogo. Por mais que tenhamos muitos heat actions, agora eles precisam ser ativados de maneiras muito específicas, então as batalhas tendem a ficar muito iguais umas às outras do início ao fim do jogo. Recomendo fortemente o uso das armas brancas e de fogo que adquirimos durante o jogo para trazer um pouco mais de variedade, pois agora infelizmente temos apenas um modo de luta, quando no primeiro tínhamos quatro distintos. Em resumo, Kiwami 2 é uma obra prima da RGG, que com certeza definiu melhor o estilo Yakuza e o que a desenvolvedora queria entregar (e que é possível ver nos títulos mais recentes que joguei). Recomendo fortemente o jogo e inclusive as sidequests, que apesar de bem curtinhas, trazem um enredo a parte bem legal!

So far my favorite Yakuza game in the entire series. It's a really good on connecting some of the main story and side stories from Yakuza 0 which shows how far other characters have gone throughout the series by far. Ragdoll physics are very amusing to watch as well. Mini games are fantastic. Music is Amazing. Story is Amazing. What more can I say?

Did Kiryu Really Find Love? ================================================ This is the first open-world game I played this year, and honestly, I'm really surprised about how much time I put into it and how it kept making me come back for more. To start off, I have already played Yakuza 0 and Kiwami 1, and I had a habit of beating one Yakuza game each year. The game runs on a new engine, which adds so much in terms of combat and the overall liveliness of the world. This time around, you only have one fighting style, but it's well-made. I would say the gameplay is on par with the older Yakuza games. The ragdoll physics add so much to the fun. The story is pretty decent; it is predictable at times, but the characters are well-written, and the villain is interesting. The Majima story was a really nice addition too and a nostalgic trip back to Y0. I really enjoyed the cabaret club minigame, and I think this is the first time I put this much time into a Yakuza minigame. I loved the hostesses' stories and dates. On the technical side: no performance issues, no bugs, and the game can even run on lower-spec PCs. Now onto Y3 :)) TL;DR: Overall, the game is pretty good. If you liked the first 2 games, you're gonna love this one too.

El Dragón de Dojima nunca decepciona. Se nota que es un remake de un juego antiguo en algunos aspectos, pero está muy bien conseguido.

En general es mucho mejor que el Kiwami 1, tanto en historia como en gameplay. En el tema de la historia no es tan previsible como la anterior, hasta el final del juego te aparecen cosas que cambian el guión completamente. Y luego en este juego si que le dan importancia a Majima, tanto en la historia principal como con su historia extra (que está muy interesante contando el que pasó entre el Kiwami 1 y 2, aunque son prácticamente todo cinemáticas y en 1 horita está pasado) Luego por el gameplay es mucho más sencillo y cómodo de jugar, donde solo tienes 1 estilo de combate que vas mejorando poco a poco, y el sistema de mejoras va por experiencia que vas consiguiendo haciendo cosas por el mapa, y no gastándote tropecientos yenes en mejorarte. En definitiva, es una buena secuela a su anterior, faltará ver los siguientes de la saga.
