Spoilers incoming. You were warned lol. An amazing fighting game. Mechanics include old Budokai and some new. Story-wise, better play Budokai Tenkaichi 2 or any other from the franchise. They kept the main sagas, skipping some of the minor or not main character fights. No movies, only the characters if you unlock them. For a game that advertised over 180 characters, you realize 20 are Goku, another 20 Vegeta and some expected missing - or that were in the older games (looking at you super android 17, Supreme Kai & Kibitokai, Pikkon??? and a FEW others...) What if stories, interesting at start, got tedious with the "secret requirement" which 90% of the time was "beat them faster". 0% creativity. One fight was "don't get hit by solar flare" was probably the peak example of how they could have made what if stories interesting to unlock. You follow the path of 8 main characters, on the most amazing road map ever made in DB game. HOWEVER, you have to flip flop back and forth characters and no fights excluding those 8... Custom battles, oh boy. Good luck if you are the one making them and patience. There are thousands of text lines to use for flavor and cutscenes you can make, that been said 0% search function :) good luck finding that 1 line you had in mind or saw randomly while scrolling through. That been said, if you just want to go online and PVP amazing game. Wish they cared more for the story mode and provided more characters than marketing numbers.
