The least variety of all SR titles killing replayability. The business venture system is where I had my most fun despite the samey wave survival gameplay. Main story has the worst writing, elevating all sidequests by proxy. I exhausted every sidequest possible at every opportunity before advancing the next main story beat. This made for some silly moments as my nearly maxed character who can one shot everything was useless and easily awestruck in cutscenes. Shooting never felt good even after several updates addressing it specifically; However, gun lock-on accessibility options had variety and were very useful in compensating for my severe dyspraxia. Camera auto-centering can't be toggled off and always points the camera to the ground instead of forward. =/ Clothing items are almost entirely joke items. Base customization consists of only boring or mundane objects in designated location squares that specifically have poor lighting and often face in a poor direction; there are so many wonderful art assets in the city that you never get to use in your own home; the Saint of all Saints statue never unlocks in favor of a brand new statue of a girl in sweat pants which happens to be the best looking item in the unlockables. =/ Most of my subjective complaints were easily rationalized away after realizing just how small the map really is and how short the game is; so, i won't bother listing them unless they really grind my nerves in any future playthroughs. Less buggy than SR4 at launch and less buggy than SR3 Remaster still is to this day; it seems as if 3R was just a way for the current dev team to get familiar with the engine before cobbling together this game. Driving feels like typical SR driving but with Midnight Club style carcrobatics. Checklist style activity recognition is back from previous SR's instead of that non-completionist design mess used in Agents of Mayhem. Subjectively, I had more fun with this than my playthroughs of SR4 and GOoH in spite of the lack of variety, lack of super powers, and lack of clothing options: likely due to the business ventures showing progress visually.
