I'm no die hard Dragon Age fan, but I know enough to understand why some people take issue with this game. It's fun, it really is, the story is solid and the gameplay is engaging... but it would've likely gone down so much better if it weren't a Dragon Age game. The art direction is fantastic (I know not everyone liked it, but I did) and the cutscenes were some of the very best I've seen in a video game. My character looked like they belonged there, and I was blown away by it. The team has the potential to make some really fantastic games. But it really did feel so disconnected from the rest of the Dragon Age world. Like other people are already saying - it's a good game, it's just not a very good Dragon Age game.

(I'm never really 'done' with WoW so it's hard to know when to log this but I'm done with the MSQs and I don't raid so now's a good time I guess!) This was my first expac I've been around for the launch of since MoP and I am so, so glad I came back for it and got to join in the hype around it! I know there's been a lot of mixed opinions, but in mine - this was an incredibly solid expansion story! Definitely not perfect by any means but far more engaging than it's been in a very long time for me. I returned during Dragonflight (because... dragons) but I never cared much for the story. I basically spent a lot of time doing older, non-DF content instead. This time though, I've been following the story as it's released (as well as getting mad at how quickly people post spoilers the second new content comes out) really intently. Knowing that the Worldsoul Saga is being played out in three parts really makes this expac feel like a fantastic warm-up for what's to come, and I can imagine by the time the final patch releases we'll be left on a wonderfully painful cliffhanger. I'll always love WoW, but now I REALLY love WoW ♥︎
