Donkey Kong Country is a side scrolling platformer by British developers Rare in 1994. It featured revolutionary pre-rendered 3D graphics that give the game a very unique look compared to most other games on consoles at the time. The two playable characters featured in the game are the titular character, Donkey Kong and his nephew, Diddy Kong. Together the two swing, climb, jump, swim, cartwheel, ride animals, and blast out of barrels on their way to recover their stolen bannanas from the evil King K. Rool and his Kremling army. The adventure takes you through a variety of different environments and levels that continually change up gameplay. Donkey Kong Country also provides plenty of opportunities for exploration with almost every level having a multitude of collectible, shortcuts, and hidden bonus areas.

Aqui outro classico que eu gostei mas não foi uma paixão que nem todos descrevem tanto. Donkey Kong ou DK é um jogo com ideia bastante simples que funciona muito bem com suas ideias. Basicamente você é um gorila que esta indo recuperar suas bananas roubadas por um Pirata Crocodilo. Com isso já podemos dizer que a historia só esta ai mais uma vez para justificar o gameplay. Assumo que não é nada incrivel, mas o seu objetivo nunca foi ser incrivel e sim ser comica. Seu visual é unico e bastante reconhecivel com detalhes e caracteristicas unicas que podem notar o carinho dos criadores no jogo e suas idieas para estetica e desing das fases, inimigos e personagens do jogo. Gameplay é padrão para muitos jogos plataforma. Você pula, rola pega objetos e monta em alguns animais. Acreditem ou não, parece facil mas a medida que você vai progredindo no jogo, a dificuldade aos meus olhos bastante justa, mas vai precisa dedicação daqueles que desejarem terminar o jogo. A soundtrack é Perfeita pra ninguem por defeito. Magnifica. Mesmo hoje em dia eu escuto as musicas enquanto trabalho. Mais uma digna de Orquestras. Enfim, recomendo esse jogo para os amantes de plataforma e jogos retro.

A maior dificuldade neste chefe, o King K. Rool para um adulto que já o jogou antes deve ser lembrar de nunca largar o controle quando os créditos aparecerem. The biggest difficulty with this boss, King K. Rool for an adult who has played him before should be remembering to never let go of the controller when the credits appear.

DK1 é clássico jogo bonito (ate os dias atuais) no inicio bem de boa, depois do mundo 3 o bicho pega mas vale muito a pena jogar pela progressão que o jogo da.

Donkey Kong Country

Donkey Kong Country is a fantastic SNES platformer. It's both one of the best looking and best playing games on the system. DK and Diddy both feel weighty and satisfying to control, with roll jumping giving both of them a generous coyote time window. The camera generally gives you a significant amount of lookahead, keeping both Kongs at one side of the screen rather than the center, but isn't at the level of more modern 2D platformers just yet. It takes a bit too long to turn around, centres the Kongs when facing left on the final boss - removing the lookahead - and sometimes lurches up when it probably shouldn't, leading to blind jumps. Enemy placement, in combination with the camera, often introduces trial and error, which doesn't feel great. Luckily, aside from a couple of enemies that are difficult - but usually not impossible - to react to, Donkey Kong Country is largely challenging but fair. The difficulty curve is relatively steep - with most early levels being deceptively easy - but you can save at any point after unlocking Candy's Save Point or Funky's Flights in any world. After starting a new world there's a period where you're unable to save - with levels that you have to beat back to back - but again this still feels relatively fair, especially as you can replay previous levels to build up lives prior to entering a new area. Donkey Kong Country, even now, is a standout platformer, and it says a lot about the quality of these games that the new ones haven't really changed all that much. It's a deceptively challenging series, but it feels good to finish each game.
