GUACAMELEE! 2 8 "E' rimasta un po' di salsa!" GRAFICA:7 1/2 SONORO:7+ GIOCABILITA':8/9 LONGEVITA':8 1/2 TRAMA:7/8 EMOZIONE:8+ +Gameplay bidimensionale variegato come pochi +Divertentissimo e ricco di gag +Boss vari e caratteristici... -...tranne quello finale, diverse spanne sotto al grande Calaca del primo -Nessuna novità di rilievo -Difficoltà della campagna un po' bassina Guacamelee 2 è il seguito per antonomasia. Uscito originariamente nel 2013(da me giocato nel 14) era un titolo indie bidimensionale misto tra action/platform/picchiaduro a scorrimento in salsa metroidvania. Si era un po’ tante cose ma le faceva tutte benissimo. Perché ho descritto il primo? Perché così facendo ho parlato anche del secondo , di questo Guacamelee 2. Il gioco è praticamente identico al primo, alcune nuove abilità ma niente di diverso dal solito , ma riesce a divertire ancora una volta grazie al suo frizzante gameplay e all umorismo tipico della serie . Grazie al variegato gameplay la mancanza quasi assoluta di novità non fa per nulla sentire la sua presenza , regalando un esperienza frenetica e , a tratti, anche più vivace e divertente del primo capitolo. Juan è tornato , e con lui tutta la strampalata mitologia e citazioni della serie . Passati i titoli di coda dopo un'avventura con una durata assolutamente perfetta per il suo genere ( di più avrebbe storpiato e di meno sarebbe stato troppo poco ) il giocatore viene assalito dalla voglia di scoprire tutti i segreti della mappa del Mexiverso, andando quindi a rivelare i momenti veramente di difficoltà hardcore del titolo ; infatti la difficoltà generale della campagna principale è leggermente più generosa del primo gioco ed anche i boss standard ed il finale (quest ultimo un po’ sottotono rispetto ai primi, molto caratterizzati e variegati) vengono battuti dopo pochi tentativi . Una bella esperienza che sa forse di già visto ma che grazie alla sua durata limitata ed il suo velocissimo e sempre attuale gameplay regala diverse ore di grande divertimento ed intrattenimento.

I believe I enjoyed the first game more than this one, but it was nice to go through a journey again with Juan. I believe there were some updates that added stuff to the game after I initially played it, so will have to revisit this at some point.

I played the original Guacamelee, but I honestly don’t remember much about it. Guacamelee 2 is a fun metroidvania. They give you powerups pretty frequently so you get a serotonin boost from that. I like the map design, I like the powers, the combo system is fun to play with, and I’ll always love world switching in games. There are moments where the game is genuinely touching. I’m not super big on the humor, it relies heavily on referencing other media, but it didn’t bother me too much. Fun time.

O segundo jogo é uma continuação direta do primeiro sem muitas variações quanto as mecânicas de luta, mas com mapas e inimigos novos, é ótimo para que jogou o primeiro que queria mais do mesmo. Já que tem jogadores que não gostam quando a continuação muda.
