The Ascent is a solo and co-op action RPG set in a cyberpunk world. The mega corporation that owns you and everyone, The Ascent Group, has just collapsed. Confusion and chaos ensue, security and order are in disarray, and without protection, everyone is left to fend for themselves. The Ascent is an enjoyable video game that excels in many areas. The isometric view, cyberpunk setting, and diverse gameplay featuring various guns and melee weapons are all truly impressive. However, there are a few drawbacks that hinder the overall experience. One issue is that when you die, the game reloads you in unpredictable locations. Sometimes you respawn far from where you were, while other times you are placed closer to your intended destination. Additionally, there are occasional bugs that can cause the game to crash or prevent the next objectives from loading, requiring a restart to resolve. Despite these challenges, The Ascent is available at a relatively low price and offers a great deal of entertainment. I have even enjoyed playing half of the game in multiplayer mode with friends, which added to the fun and excitement of the experience.

Отличная игра. Не знаю, чем она так многим не угодила, я кайфанул. Красиво, стильно, весело. Допройти нужно и ДЛЦ заценить. Даже ачивки все выбить легко.

This is how a cyberpunk game should be. Excellent world building and very immersive setting. I played this game with a friend and it's the way it should be played because the game does spike in difficulty here and there if one doesn't level up correctly. Even playing with a friend it still poses a challenge. The soundtrack is by far the best part for me. A great soundtrack goes hand in hand with a good story. The only downside I encountered during my play-through were the bugs. Literally every time I played it, there was a glitch or something did not load properly. Even with that fault, I would highly recommend it.

One of the best looking cyberpunk games ! But that's pretty much it sadly... the rest is not bad, it's very ok for an indie game, I did finish it because I felt like this was worth my time, so it's a seal of quality right there. But the gameplay can be tidius at time, and alot of backtracking makes it kinda redoundant at times. Good Game especialy for those craving a vibrant cyberpunk themed game

Um jogo com um visual e ambientação incríveis, trilha musical super adequada com a temática e gameplay divertida mas cansativa dada as circunstâncias de vai-e-vem o tempo inteiro+ Poderia ter mais variedade de inimigos, missões e situações, achei meio repeteco. Obs: o jogo é EXTREMAMENTE vermelho, então recomendo fortemente ajustar um perfil visual para diminuir a saturação do mesmo, se possível.

I wanted more from this game. I though that it would be Scifi Diablo but it turned out to be something totally more arcade. Which was a turn off for me.
