A small child falls into the Underground, where monsters have long been banished by humans and are hunting every human that they find. The player controls the child as they try to make it back to the Surface through hostile environments, all the while engaging with a turn-based combat system with puzzle-solving and bullet hell elements, as well as other unconventional game mechanics.

Honestly, if it wasn't for this game, I wouldn't be where I am today. I am serious when I say that this is one of the most formative experiences I've ever had. However, it's not perfect. Some of the spritework is sloppy, and the gameplay is great, but it does leave something to be desired in certain locations. Asides from that though, it's a masterpiece. It's clear Toby Fox and his crew knew what they were doing.

An above-average RPG experience. Fun writing, good music, cute graphics, and unique battles. I wasn't a fan of the random encounters; I was enjoying the exploration & story so much that I felt the random enemy encounters just slowed the pace unnecessarily, but they weren't too frequent to be really aggravating. A bit of advice: play this game only a handful of hours at a time. In bite-sized chunks of playtime, this is an enjoyable experience & can prove to be something special. Through longer stretches of time, this can be a taxing & trying playthrough with the player just wishing for it to end. Even if it seems like the game is almost over, don't push through, like I did; what I thought was an hour of playtime left led into 9 MORE HOURS! 😅 Take your take, play casually, and I think you'll have an enjoyable time. :)

I did all the endings so I didn't know if that counts as 100 percenting the game I love this game but i had trouble on the final boss in the genocide route it was a rough fight and this game has cool characters of all game that I played.
