This game and its sequel are both great. It has a similar storytelling style to the Danganronpa games where it's a mix of actual gameplay and a visual novel - there's lots of paths and choices with a variety of endings. The branching paths actually matter to the plot of the game and it's pretty much mandatory to do every path if you want to get the full story - I personally prefer this games sequel and characters but this really sets the tone of what Zero Escape is about, it's one of those games I recommend to a lot of people.

Puzzles are fun but characters are awfully written and it sort of kills any enjoyment of the story itself
