GREAT GAME! It makes sense why this game got game of the year when it did. BUT this game is not devoid of glaring issues and overrated by its fan base. While this game earns high scores from me in gameplay and visuals for having a beautifully immersive world where you can do almost anything you can think of, frequent glitches, stale characters, and a generic story dock a few points for me. I have hopes that the dev team will work out the game breaking bugs that persist within the game. I also think the music was nothing worthy of note aside from the main theme (which is remixed, reprised, and reused very often, but well done in those instances) as well as the theme for the campsite in the INN. The rest of the music is non-memorable and generic sounding tavern core. A big personal opinion I have that couldn't be expressed in the scores I gave is that while this game is a VERY FUN multiplayer game, I don't believe I would have had as much fun playing by myself. I definitely don't want to "yuck anyone's yum" when it comes to this game, but I find it hard to believe anyone would have as much fun playing this game alone as they would with friends. All in all Baldur's Gate 3 is a wonderful game that I had the pleasure of finishing. I plan on playing more of it with friends and I would recommend for those who have yet to try it to wait for it to go on sale as its price tag is slightly too high for what it's worth.
