While I did enjoy this game, I felt certain aspects of the game were lacking such as story and gameplay. There were a couple of points in the main story that I did find interesting, however they do throw all these scientific and big words which I thought were draining and too much to process towards the later half of the game. They surprisingly don't utilize the voice acting despite having a very good cast for the characters. But the one thing I found myself complaining a lot on was the combat. Dodge/Side Step was completely useless and the monsters' hit boxes made no sense. So even though you think you "side stepped" far enough, you still receive damage. Combat does get rough at the beginning but you can easily level up by shipping crops and products every day which made it more tolerable as you get further in the game. The only reason I stuck through with this game is because I did find the farming to be really fun and unique, but to unlock more features for your farm, you do have to progress the story unfortunately. TLDR; If you're interested in getting this game, do wait for a sale because it's not really worth getting it at full price. Update 10/16/24: I found out that your partner after moving in with you doesnt really do much but talk and walk around. Not even help you on your farm or any romantic interactions which is.... pretty dull and lackluster.
