AI Limit is definitely a hidden gem. Imagine Dark Souls or even more so Bloodborne—but make it Anime. It features a unique "Sync Bar" system that’s kind of like a mana bar, but with a clever twist that makes it feel fresh and unique. I usually stick to DEX builds in these kinds of games, but here I found myself experimenting with some pretty cool spells too.
Personally, I found the game on the easier side, though there are some optional bosses that offer more of a challenge. Because of that, I’d say AI Limit is an excellent entry point for anyone new to the Souls-like genre—as long as you enjoy Anime aesthetics.
The story was great, and the boss designs were really cool. The game might feel a little slow at the beginning and enemy variety seems limited at first, but that changes once you start discovering new areas. It’s a linear experience, similar to Dark Souls, but there's still a ton of exploration, mind-blowing secrets, and secret bosses tied to some really awesome side quests.
I went all in and did everything to unlock the “true ending”, and it was absolutely worth it. For just 30 €, the game feels huge, packed with content and *cough* lot's of badass armor sets. I honestly can’t recommend this hidden gem enough.
